Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to everyone who use https://www.swifttechbuy.com/. Please read them carefully, because by placing an order with us, you accept to be bound by them.

This service is only available for individuals who are above 18 years of age. If you are under 18, please don’t use our website.

By using this website, it means you accept our terms and conditions regardless of whether you are simply looking for information or you want to place an order with us. If you don’t agree with these terms, please do not proceed using the website.

This site is intended for use by people registered with us. Nevertheless, you may be able to access most sections of this site without submitting your details to us. We have the right to update these terms and conditions page from time to time; thus you should check it regularly because the terms and conditions are binding on you.

In case we update new terms and conditions, and you don’t wish to accept them, kindly don’t continue using this website or placing orders with us.

Registration

To register with us, you need to be 18 years of age and above. Upon registration, you will be required to create a username and a password. We strongly advise that you don’t disclose this information to anyone. You are solely responsible for the security of your password. In case you suspect that someone else has access to it, get in touch with us without delay. If you breach any of your obligations under these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your registration.

Supplying us

You can place an order with us through ordering using our online check out process. When you make errors during the checkout process, you are allowed to correct them. Once we receive your order, we shall send you an acknowledgment notification detailing the device(s) you have supplied us with. Please note that we can reject your offer of supply if you have made a description or pricing error, or if you don’t meet the criteria which are well-laid-out in our terms and conditions.

Pricing

We have the right to change prices without notice. Nevertheless, all orders placed 14 days before the price change will be paid at the agreed price for 14 days from the day the order was placed. However, if an obvious pricing error was made, be informed that your device(s) might be affected by the price change.

In case we receive your device(s) after the 14 days has expired, we reserve the right to adjust the prices (downwards or upwards) to reflect the new price if it has changed.

Where applicable, all prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

Your device

Every device you sell to us should match the model and make you stated during the registration of your order and should meet the following conditions:

Working mobile phones

Every old but working device you send to us must match the make and model you indicate when creating the order, and must have the following characteristics:

* The device must turn on and off

* It must be fully functional

* The body must not have any missing plastics, metal casings, screws, and no part should be detached from the device whatsoever

* There should be no missing button

* LCD must be fully functional and must display the operating system of the device

* LCD should not protrude from the casing

* LCD should not have missing pixels, pressure damage, screen burn, or lines

* No crack should be visible in the displaying lense

* The touch screen must be functional

* Liquid damage should not be visible

* The device must have a battery and a back cover

* There should be no non-original components in the device

* Slider mechanisms should be fully functional

* The stylus should accompany the device if it was sold with it

NOTE: In case the device has excessive chips, dents, scratches, or has visible signs of wear and tear, you might be asked to revise the order.

Faulty/damaged phones

In case your phone or tablet doesn’t meet the criteria above, it will be classified as faulty/damaged, and it must have the following characteristics:

* The device must turn on and off

* Visible liquid damage will lead to a rejected order

* The device must not be bent or broken in half

* Integral components such as the LCD, lens, and camera should be present

* Integral parts should not be detached from the main body of the phone

 

Networks

For some devices, we might request you to specify the type of network they use since it will affect their pricing. In case we find out during testing that the device is locked to a specific network, we shall revise the order, and prices will change accordingly.

Revised orders

If at all we find that your device selected in your order doesn’t meet the criteria mentioned in our terms and conditions, we shall change your order and place it in the ideal condition. In most cases, this will lead to a partial reduction in price. The amount reduced will be fully dependent on the diagnosis results given by our operatives.

Whenever we do a revised order, we shall communicate our reasons to you via email. If you are not contented with our actions, we shall discuss the order with you. If we come to a consensus, we shall proceed with the payments, but if you dispute our actions, we shall ship the device back to you at our cost.

Payments or processing

When you send a device to us, and the order is accepted, we aim to process your payments instantly and send it via PayPal or mailbox. However, not that public holidays and an increase in order volume may slow down the normal processing time.

Device content

Please note that it is your responsibility to remove any data from your mobile device before you send it to us. We are not liable for any data protection, confidentiality, security or use of such data; hence you need to ensure that you rest your device to factory settings before you ship it.

In case we find data in your phone, we wipe it ourselves and note that we don’t offer data backup services.

Memory cards and SIM

If you send us a device which has a memory and/or SIM cards, we shall remove them and make sure they are destroyed. Remember, we are not liable for any charges that might be incurred by your SIM when the device is in our possession. It remains your responsibility to take care of such charges or cancel airtime contracts.
